Last week, I showed you the fence wood wall hanging in our living room. Today, let me show you how more of our reclaimed fence wood made it into our house…this time, in the kitchen:The fence pailings are cut in half lengthwise, one piece lies flat on the wall and the other sticks out from it. The corners are miter cut and nailed together.I love it 🙂The fork and spoon are not new, they were given to us by Grammy Sammy a few years ago. If you look closely at the top right hand corner of this picture, you can see where they used to hang… (yes this is the best picture I could find):This currently hangs alone behind/above the kitchen table. So you’ll see it again when I reveal our kitchen makeover in a couple of weeks 🙂

love seeing your repurposed projects. The wall art last week was stellar and I really like this piece too especially that you mounted the old flat wear right to the wall instead of framing it traditionally. Such history between the framing and the silverware. Nicely done and thanks for sharing on BeColorful.
