It is time for my weekly installment of favorite finds from the big wide world of bloggers. (Click here for more information about “Friday Favorites”)

Mommy Musings –>

Emily, at Chatting at the Sky, is a really great writer. She tells it like it is, but with artistic flare! I am not the only one who thinks she is a great writer…she is under contract to write a book. I like this post about how God doesn’t usually use people who have all their ducks in a row, but rather the ones who don’t even have any ducks to speak of…This way there is no confusion about who should get the glory. What a good reminder! Thanks, Emily!

Making A House a Home –>

I really like boldly painted walls–like this one from Brooke at All Things Thrifty. Her post had some great tips for painting. Those leaves were made by covering wax paper with painters tape, cutting the shape out, peeling the wax paper off and taping the painters tape leaf to the wall. I’ve never been a fan of painters tape…if I want a nice line, I use a good quality angled brush and draw it myself (like I did for these circles on my nursery wall). However, Brooke recommends using a paintable caulk to seal the edges of the paint so they don’t bleed…I am definitely intrigued and trying to figure out if I have a project I could try this method out on.

Etsy Products –>

I got kind of into scarves when I became a mommy. At first I started wearing them in an effort to hide my huge milk bag boobs. They are not so huge anymore…but I still love scarves. This one, from Kirevi888, is beautiful!

Other Stuff –>

Several weeks ago I shared some wall art made from toilet paper tubes. Now look what Stephanie Lynn at Under the Table and Dreaming has created with cereal boxes!

Great Stuff Ladies! Thanks for Sharing!
